OUR CLINICIANS

Chalfont Family Practice was started in 1969 by Dr. Nesi and in 1971 was joined by Dr. Danzis.  Dr. Nesi left to complete his training as an ENT.  Dr. Shaeffer joined the practice in 1984, followed by Dr. Lieberman in 1989, Dr. Bagnick in 1997, Dr. Dacier in 1999, Donna Degnan, CRNP in 1998, Aimee Goldman, PA in 2016, Dr. Wassel in 2020 and Kate Cunningham, PA in 2020.

Joseph Bagnick, MD

Dr. Joseph Bagnick  joined Chalfont Family Practice in November of 1997.  After graduating from Hahnemann University School of Medicine, he served as Primary Care Medical Officer in Guam and then from 1991 – 1995 served as Senior Medical Officer for primary care of active duty, family members of active duty, retirees and occupational health requirements of civil service employees.  He then completed his residency at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, PA.   Dr. Bagnick is board certified in Family Medicine.

Christine Dacier, MD

Dr. Christine Dacier joined Chalfont Family Practice in August of 1999.  After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, she completed her residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA in June of 1999.  She is board certified in Family Medicine.

Jeffrey Danzis, DO

Dr. Jeffrey Danzis started Chalfont Family Practice in 1971.  After graduating from Kansas City University of Medicine and Bio Sciences in 1969, he completed his residency at Doctors Hospital West in Columbus, OH in 1970.  He continues to work part time at Chalfont Family Practice seeing his beloved patients for the past 42 years.

Bruce Lieberman, MD

Dr. Bruce Lieberman joined Chalfont Family Practice in 1989.  He grew up in Delaware County and attended Duke University. After graduating from Hahnemann University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA in 1986, he completed his residency program at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA in 1989.  He is board certified in Family Medicine.

 

Joseph Shaeffer, MD

Dr. Joseph Shaeffer joined Chalfont Family Practice in 1984.  After graduating from Georgetown University School of Medicine, Washington, DC in 1977, he completed his residency at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA in 1980.  He is board certified in Family Practice and Geriatrics.  He volunteers at the Ann Silverman Free Clinic of Doylestown Hospital.

 

Kate Cunningham, PAc

Kate Cunningham has been a licensed Medical Physician Assistant since 1992. She is a graduate of King’s College in Wilkes Barre, PA, and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the Association of Family Practice Physician Assistants and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants. Certification: National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant.

 

Aimee Goldman, PAc

Aimee Goldman is our Physician’s Assistant and joined Chalfont Family Practice in 2016.  She graduated from Marywood University in 2011.

Jenna Vaughan, CRNP

Jenna Vaughan is our Nurse Practitioner and joined Chalfont Family Practice in 2022. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in May of 2022.
